D&G Landscaping was contracted by Ottawa Community Housing (OCH) to complete a comprehensive landscape construction package for a residential redevelopment. The scope of work included the supply and installation of high-quality precast unit pavers and permeable pavers, designed to enhance both the aesthetic and environmental functionality of the site. We constructed cast-in-place (CIP) concrete planters, adding structural and horticultural value to the space. The project also involved the installation of playground equipment to promote community engagement and active lifestyles among residents. In addition, we supplied and installed custom architectural benches and a shade structure, providing attractive and durable amenities for public use. To support sustainable urban drainage, we implemented bioswale planting, which helps manage stormwater runoff naturally. The softscape portion of the project included tree planting and shrub installation, contributing to long-term site greening and improved livability. Our team coordinated closely with the client and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery, high-quality finishes, and compliance with accessibility and safety standards. The result is a vibrant, multifunctional outdoor environment that serves the needs of OCH residents and the broader community.
