WSIB Performance Indicators
D&G Landscaping is committed to the health and safety of its employees. One way to demonstrate this is with our WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) Ontario performance indicators.
D&G Landscaping has a WSIB Ontario NEER Performance Index of 0.06. The NEER Performance Index is an indicator of our safety performance record against other companies in the same WSIB rate groups. The NEER Performance Index may range between 0.0 (the best) and 4.0 (the worst). A NEER Performance Index of less than 1.0 indicates that D&G Landscaping’s safety record (as measured in accident costs) is better than the average for the WSIB rate group.
D&G Landscaping has a WSIB Ontario CAD-7 Performance Index of 1.00. The CAD-7 Performance Index is also an indicator of our safety performance record against other companies in the same WSIB rate groups. The CAD-7 Performance Index may range between 1.00 (the best) and -4.00 (the worst). A CAD-7 Performance Index closer to 1.00 indicates that D&G Landscaping’s safety record (as measured in accident costs and time off) is better than the average for the WSIB rate group.
These performance indicators not only show our safety record, they are also used to calculate the insurance premiums we pay to WSIB. Better performance indicators = lower insurance premiums = D&G Landscaping offers better value in our project pricing.
